Today ICloud.com is released. According to their press release it's the worlds first free online computer, allowing you to bring your own files and applications to any Internet connected computer.
ICloud has been in development for 8 years and has gotten several rounds of funding, so it's going to be interesting to finally see how good the service is. The company also has 22 patents pending for their inovative platform.
When I've talked to Daniel Arthursson, the Sweden based founder of the company, he has been extreamly proud of their framework. Apparently they have developed a large number of applications, as well as having a great program for external developers.
From start, the ICloud package contains 30 applications such as Office, Mail and IM, 60 widgets and 3 Gig of online storage.
This could be huge!
