Apple lost all credibility as a premium brand - They simply don't care

Just for the record: I have never bought an apple product. Mostly because I find it somewhat annoying that they put more effort in positioning themself as a lifestyle product than in creating great products. Somehow I've always felt that they are a little bit to cynical.
But since the launch of the iPod, the Iphone, MacOS X and their move to the Intel processor, I've gradually become more and more impressed with Apple.

Not anymore though. By letting "Baby Shaker"-application through their IPhone application screening, I think they really show what they, as a company, value: themself.
The approval of this application is simply unacceptable.

Positioned as the stylish choice, the premium brand for people with good taste, the company must live up to their reputation at all times. A company without a social commitment is simply to flat.
By allowing an application like this, Apple show us that they aren't anything else than a low life trashy salesman with a pretty package. Social responsibility is simply not on Apple's agenda.

I'm happier than ever that I don't own an Apple - My T1 comes from the big company stating "Do no evil", and my computer has an operating system that is closely linked to a person responsible for a global health charity.
From now on I'll say that Apple is the choice for people that are ignorant and full of themselves.

Luckily, the app has now been removed...

@Emil - I don't think that matter at all. If they really would have cared they wouldn't have published it in the first place.
Every company, especially a top brand as Apple, should show a great deal of common sence.
