Rebtel is in the making of a facebook application. From what I've heard you'll be able to check your voicemail and your sms directly from Facebook. I have no information on when the widget will be ready, but according to Rebtels Facebook group "EntRebeneurs" it's in a near release state.
Rebtels Facebook app was initiated by their social marketing team - They have a blog, posts videos on youtube and are active on different social networking sites. Since they already was on Facebook, they probably realized what a fantastic marketing tool those Facebook widgets are. Let's hope that they'll target some key players on facebook to "convince" start using their Rebtel application.

IPhone nano rumour
Apple is developing a IPhone nano. Or at least there's a rumour going around saying they are.
My question is: What's left with IPhone if you remove the big, beautiful screen? Not very much.
A Microsoft Surface Nano is more likely. This time just about the same size as a toaster.

Pownce.com - Is it really necessary?
Today I found Pownce which I for some reason haven't seen before. It's a web2.0 app for sharing photos, invitations, files or text with your friends and contacts. It's still in invitation only testing mode, so I haven't tested the service. It looks good but I'm not sure that this alone will be interesting enough to be a really successful startup. What is interesting is that they have a clientside application as well, that take use of the Adobe Air system, so you can download a client for both Mac and Windows. Since I haven't seen Air that much in action yet, I'm looking forward to Pownce just to give Air a try.
As I see it to much of the functionality can be found in competing, a bit similar webapps, as in a MSN, Yahoo or facebook group, and I don't think people will bother signing up for just some smaller extra features. If they make a facebook / yahoo / google widget out of it, I'd say it would be more of an interesting bet. A mobile solution for sharing would also make this a much more interesting startup to me.

Social marketing continued
The social networkers at Rebtel is continuing to create users - Today they launched a campaign for on their blog and on Facebook, encourageing fellow entrepeuners to recruit Rebtel users. Read more about it here. As I said in my previos post on Facebook, I really like their approach and their positive attitude. It will be interesting to follow their work throughout the summer and I hope and suppose that they will let us know how successfull this campaign was.
Their approach is kind of a part traditional guerilla marketing, social marketing and a multilevel earnings program, all mixed with a big piece of entrepeneural spirit. Have a look at it. I know I will :-)
